Balance & Flex Profile
The Yonex 08 VCORE 25 is a strung junior tennis racket for ambitious juniors aged 8–10 who are beginning to develop real technique, structured footwork and modern spin. A true performance junior racket rather than a toy or recreational frame, it carries the same engineering approach as the adult VCORE series.
Key Features
- Sweet spot – a 100 sq in head with ISOMETRIC geometry gives a wider contact zone, more forgiving timing, easier depth on groundstrokes and cleaner volleys.
- Snapback – horizontal string grommets, as on the adult VCORE, increase string movement to encourage natural topspin, make it easier to lift the ball and help keep shots in play.
- Speed – at just 240 g, juniors can prepare the racket earlier, learn swing acceleration and keep proper form over longer sessions.
- Stability – VDM (Vibration Dampening Mesh) and a stable junior-tuned frame give a smoother feel, less shock on off-centre hits and better comfort for growing wrists and arms.
- 4S Spin System, simplified for juniors – helps young players learn topspin, directional control and height over the net.
Performance Overview
The VCORE 25 gives juniors the stability, forgiveness and confidence to strike cleaner, more controlled shots, leading to faster technical development and fewer mis-hits. It teaches proper mechanics without forcing or over-swinging, and the lightweight frame reduces fatigue and helps build technique safely. For juniors who want to improve faster, hit cleaner and enjoy the game more, it is the step between mini tennis and a full-sized adult frame.
