How long does restringing take?
In store we offer same-day and while-you-wait options. For postal orders, rackets are typically strung within 1-2 working days of arrival and returned by tracked delivery, so most customers have their racket back within the week.
What tension should I choose for my tennis racket?
Most players string between 48-58 lbs. Lower tension gives more power and comfort; higher tension gives more control. Polyester strings are usually strung a few pounds lower than synthetic gut or multifilament. How often should I restring my tennis racket?
A good rule of thumb is to restring as many times per year as you play per week. Polyester strings in particular lose tension and go dead within a few weeks of regular play, well before they break, so don't wait for a breakage to restring.
