RSL Shuttlecocks
Central Sports is the UK's exclusive supplier of RSL shuttlecocks — no other British retailer stocks the range. As the retail partner of Badminton England, we supply RSL shuttles to clubs, counties and tournaments across the country, direct from our Birmingham and Milton Keynes stores.
Why RSL shuttlecocks
RSL has been making feather shuttlecocks since 1928 and is one of the few brands with BWF-certified grades used in international competition. RSL shuttles are known for consistent flight, a firm cork base and a lower cost per game than most tournament-grade rivals — which is why so many UK clubs run their league nights on them.
Choosing your RSL grade
- RSL Tourney No.1 — BWF Certified. Top-grade goose feather for national and international competition.
- RSL Classic Tourney — BWF International Grade. Tournament flight at club-friendly pricing.
- RSL Tourney No.2, No.3 and No.4 — stepped down through county, club and league play. No.3 is the UK club standard.
- RSL Classic Academy — built for coaching, juniors and high-volume training sessions.
- RSL A9, DTL 8A and DTL 85 — durable practice and recreational grades for schools and social play.
Shuttle speed
RSL shuttles are supplied in speeds 76, 77 and 78. Speed 77 suits the majority of UK sports halls. Choose 76 for warmer venues and 78 for colder halls. If you are ordering for a club or league and are not sure, call us — we fit and advise on shuttle speed every day.
Club, county and bulk supply
We supply RSL by the dozen, the box and the pallet, with account terms and league pricing for affiliated clubs. Speak to our team about a club account.
