Central Sports Conditions of Sale

These Conditions of Sale govern the sale of products by Central Sports to you. By placing an order with Central Sports, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We encourage you to read them carefully before completing your purchase.

1. Our Contract

When you place an order to purchase a product from Central Sports, it is an offer to buy the product(s) listed in your order. We will acknowledge receipt of your order by sending you an Order Confirmation email containing the details of your order. This acknowledgment does not confirm acceptance of your offer.

The contract of sale between you and Central Sports is formed only when we dispatch the product(s) and send you a Dispatch Confirmation email. If your order is dispatched in multiple shipments, each shipment will form a separate contract of sale. 

2. Right of Cancellation

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from the day you, or a third party indicated by you, receive the goods. To cancel your order, you must inform us of your decision by contacting our Customer Service team or using the cancellation form available on our website.

Once we receive your cancellation, we will issue a refund, no later than 14 days after we receive the returned goods or evidence of their return. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless otherwise agreed or using our return label service.

Exceptions to the cancellation right include:

  • Personalised or custom-made or altered items.
  • Products sealed for hygiene reasons that have been unsealed after delivery.
  • Perishable goods or items that may deteriorate quickly.

3. Pricing and Availability

All prices are inclusive of VAT. We strive to ensure accuracy in pricing and availability information but cannot guarantee error-free listings. If a product’s correct price is higher than our stated price, we will notify you before dispatch for your decision to proceed or cancel the order. If a product’s price is lower than stated, we will charge the lower price.

Product availability is indicated on our website but may be subject to change. Delivery estimates are for guidance only and are not guaranteed.

4. Returns and Refunds

In addition to your statutory rights, Central Sports offers a 30-day voluntary return policy. Products must be returned in their original condition, including packaging, to qualify for a refund. This includes shoes that must be sent back in their original box in a good condition, we insist a shoe box must be wrapped in another box or mail bag before postage, you must not add a label directly to a shoe box. Shipping costs for the return may be borne by you unless the product is faulty or not as described.

5. Liability

Central Sports is not responsible for:

  • Losses not caused by our breach of these terms.
  • Business losses, including lost profits, revenue, or goodwill.
  • Indirect or unforeseeable losses.

Nothing in these conditions limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

We will not be held liable for delays or failures resulting from circumstances beyond our control.

6. Applicable Law

These Conditions of Sale are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

7. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Conditions of Sale at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and apply to all orders placed after the amendment date.

8. Severability

If any part of these Conditions of Sale is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

9. Children

We do not sell products for purchase by children. Orders must be placed by individuals aged 18 or older.

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases from centralsports.co.uk. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

1) YOUR ORDER

When you have submitted your order, you will receive an automated email from us with your order confirmation. We will then process this order and dispatch your goods. You will then receive a dispatched confirmation with the tracking details of your order. Our aim is to deliver all orders within the delivery window selected, if there are any delays we will contact the customer directly to notify them of this. Any orders returned to us as undeliverable, we shall attempt to contact you to arrange re-delivery.  This will incur an additional postage charge. If we are unable to contact you we will refund the price of the products only. The original postage charge cannot be refunded due to administrative costs.

Please note : Decorated teamwear can take up to 6 weeks to be processed, this includes adding your team/club logo, club name, initials or squad number.

2) PAYMENT

We use Shop Pay as our payment gateway for all credit and debit card transactions. Their criteria for online transactions are strict and secure, offering confidence to you and us! At the checkout stage, should you be notified that payment via your credit or debit card has been declined, please check that all your data has been correctly entered. If you are still unable to proceed, please contact your card issuer.

ALL ITEMS DISPATCHED WILL REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF CENTRAL SPORTS UNTIL PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED IN FULL. UNTIL PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE, THE GOODS ARE HELD ON A FIDUCIARY BASIS ONLY.

3) PRICES

All up to date prices are on our website. These are in Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of VAT. The prices in the catalogue are valid at the time of going to press. Delivery charges may apply and are displayed during the order process. Prices remain in force until we publish new prices on our website. All orders will be charged in Pounds Sterling as shown on your order confirmation.

If you are viewing the website out of the UK VAT region the price shown will be Net of VAT. Orders are shipped internationally not including any local tax or duty charges.

Whilst we try to ensure that our prices on our website are correct, mistakes can sometimes occur. If we discover an error in the price of products you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it.  If the order is cancelled, we will refund any money we have taken from you. Refunds can only be made via the original method of purchase.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time.

Discount vouchers are issued at the discretion of Central Sports and cannot be used with any other offer. We reserve the right to withdraw a discount voucher or offer at any time.

If there is an error or mistake that is reasonably obvious in the fare price, Central Sport is entitled to cancel the order and offer a full refund.

4) AVAILABILITY

We try to ensure that all our products on the website are updated to inform you if they are in stock, out of stock or available to pre-order. However, your order may be delayed if the item is not in stock. Our stock is controlled electronically, and occasionally errors will occur, therefore the current stock status is approximate. We will inform you if a product you have ordered is unavailable and let you know the estimated date of availability. Should you wish to wait for your order to become available, we will keep your order on record. If you wish to cancel the order, we will refund any money taken from you. Refunds can only be made via the original method of purchase.

Colour accuracy on the website cannot be guaranteed, and will vary depending on the resolution and screen type of your computer.

5) DELIVERY INFORMATION

Our aim is to deliver all orders within the delivery window selected, if there are any delays we will contact the customer directly to notify them of this. Any orders returned to us as undeliverable, we shall attempt to contact you to arrange re-delivery. This will incur an additional postage charge. If we are unable to contact you we will refund the price of the products only. The original postage charge cannot be refunded due to administrative costs.

Delivery charges are applied to your order based upon the weight of the order applies via the following charges: 

Charges Clothing, Sportswear, Shuttles, Training Accessories and Equipment

Standard Delivery for All UK Orders Under £64.99: UK - £4.99
Standard Delivery or All UK Orders Over £65: UK - Free*

*Free delivery is not available on orders containing bespoke items or those being delivered to the Highlands, Islands of Scotland, Channel Islands or Northern Ireland. Any orders to these locations will be subject to a delivery surcharge based on weight. Please see our Delivery page for more information. Highlands postcodes include HS, IV, KW, ZE, KA27, KA28, AB, PA and PH. 

Please note : The above (Section 5) is only applicable for plain items. Decorated teamwear can take up to 6 weeks to be processed, this includes adding your team/club logo, club name, initials or squad number.

Training Equipment: For INTERNATIONAL:

We advise you get in touch with our customer service team to discuss the carriage cost of any international orders. We can potentially offer better shipping rates than what the website will offer. Please contact-us or leave us a message if out of office hours and we will get back to asap.

6) CUSTOMS

All shipments internationally from the UK are sent DAP. If your delivery address is outside of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country; we advise customers to contact their local customs office for further information. You should be aware that any items being shipped both inside and outside of the United Kingdom are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

7) RIGHT OF CANCELLATION

The United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations 2000 provide you with a right to cancel your order for products at any time up to the end of the seventh working day following the day after the day on which you received the products. You do not need to give us any reason for cancellation

Until you have returned the products to us, you must keep them in your possession and take reasonable care of them. We will credit the price of the cancelled products you have returned. Please note that any carriage charges already incurred by Central Sports at the point of cancellation will not be credited.

8) RETURNS POLICY

Faulty/Defective Goods

If the product has been used for its intended purpose, generally almost all faults will appear within the first 3 months after purchase. For this reason you may return any faulty item up to 3 months after the date of purchase. This product would then be professionally inspected for any faults of manufacture. If the damage to the product is deemed accidental damage/wear and tear, the product will be returned to the customer. If the inspection reveals any fault of manufacture then the product will be exchanged for new replacement product or fully refunded. If a product is deemed faulty, we will reimburse you with reasonable costs of your return shipping charge if you include a receipt.

We evaluate each returned faulty product professionally and as quickly as possible with an aim to keep every customer satisfied with the highest level of customer service possible.

Please note: all faulty goods must be clean, dry and free from dirt and mud; we will not process any return we deem to be too dirty or wet.

Nothing in this Returns Policy affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

9) Club/University/School Teamwear

Once the order is placed, the delivery timescale will depend on what you have ordered. University, Club and School orders can take up to 6 weeks from date of order, due to decoration required. All orders are processed individually. We only hold blank items in stock, which have to then be decorated, embroidered or printed according to what is specified. Please make sure you order the correct size(s) as we cannot exchange or refund any garment(s) that have been personalised for you in any way. This includes adding your team/club logo, club name, initials or squad number etc. If you’re unsure of sizing, we recommend that you check our size guide, ask fellow student/club members if you can try their clothing, check your SU/AU, as some hold size samples. You can also call or email.

Standard delivery charge is £4.99. Delivery would be dispatched through Royal Mail. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors and all goods and products are subject to availability. Central Sports shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales.

10) TRADEMARKS

All design, text and imagery on this website is the copyright of Central Sports Ltd. All brand names, product names and titles used in this site are trademarks or trade names of Central Sports Ltd. No permission is given in respect of use of any of the above. The site may not be altered in any way or republished without permission.

All matters concerning and incidental to any offer or agreement for the purchase and sale of goods from Central Sports shall be governed by English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction in all such matters.

Central Sports reserves the right to refuse to supply any individual or company.

11) PROMOTIONS

Central Sports reserves the right to amend or remove these promotions listed below with no prior notice. Where a discount code is used within the checkout and is no longer deemed to be valid, through the expiry date having been reached or the promotion having been removed, then you will be notified at the point of purchase.

13) Mispricing

PRICING CONFIRMATIONS; ERRORS. With respect to items sold by Central Sports, we cannot confirm the price of an item until you place your order. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be mispriced. If the correct price of an item sold by Central Sports is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
