The season
Build a Player
A legend is drawn. Take one of their stats for your player. Each stat can only be filled once, so a great smash you skip now may never come back. One redraw per build.
Attribute scores are our opinion, made to be argued with.

The Gauntlet
Beat every legend's best season in a row. One loss ends the run. Best run: 0
Build a Pair
Pick a partner from each draw of three. Doubles needs a smasher at the back and a hand at the net. Real partners get a chemistry bonus, and so do pairs from the same nation. One redraw.

The knockout
Fill all five slots, then take on the all-time national teams in a quarter-final, semi-final and final. Each tie is five matches; first to three.
Doubles Chain
Link the two players through real doubles partnerships. Pick a partner of the last player in your chain. Three wrong partners and you're out.

Coach the Face-off
You're in the coach's chair for one peak season. Every five points, call a tactic. Read the scouting report, guess what they'll do, and counter it. Attack beats Net · Net beats Defend · Defend beats Attack. Playing to your player's best style adds a little extra.

Who is the GOAT?
Move the weights and the ranking re-sorts. These weights also set every rating in the Draft.
| # | Player | Nation | Rating | Olympic G/S/B | Worlds G/S/B | All England | Wks No.1 | Titles | Win % | Yrs |
|---|
How the rating works
Big titles = Olympic gold 5, silver 2.5, bronze 1.5; World Championships gold 3.5, silver 1.75, bronze 1; All England 1.75 each (2.5 before 1977, when it was the unofficial world championship).
Consistency = weeks at No.1 × 0.135 (a full year at No.1 is worth about the same as a world title), career titles × 0.18, win % above 60 × 0.35, years at the top × 0.5.
Before world rankings (pre-1990) weeks at No.1 are estimated: 26 weeks per All England, World or Olympic title, 13 per European, Asian or Commonwealth title, plus a bonus for win rate above 75%. That credits players who couldn't afford a full world tour in the semi-pro era. Capped at 300 weeks.
Score = Σ weight × component. The best score in each event is rated 99; the rest scale from there.

How do I earn CS+ points from a quiz?
Enter your email at the end of a quiz and the points are added to your CS+ balance. 100 CS+ points is worth £1 off an order. Easy quizzes pay 1 point per correct answer, standard 2 and hard 3, so a hard quiz answered well is worth three times an easy one.

Can I play the same quiz again?
Yes, as many times as you like. Each quiz only pays out points once, but replaying still counts towards your days-played streak.
What is the club leaderboard?
Enter your club name and the points you score are added to your club's monthly total. The table resets on the first of each month.
