Central Sports is the UK's exclusive supplier of RSL — no other British retailer stocks the range. As the retail partner of Badminton England, we supply RSL rackets to clubs, counties and players across the country from our Birmingham and Milton Keynes stores.
Why RSL rackets
RSL has been making badminton equipment since 1928. Their rackets are built for players who want dependable, well-balanced frames without paying a premium for a marketing budget — which is why they are a common sight on club and league nights across the UK.
Choosing an RSL racket
Head-heavy frames — more mass in the head for power on smashes and rear-court clears. Suits attacking singles players.
Head-light frames — faster through the air for quick blocks, drives and front-court play. Suits doubles.
Even balance — an all-round compromise. The safe choice if you are still working out your style.
Weight — most adult frames are 3U (85–89g) or 4U (80–84g). Lighter is faster; heavier hits harder.
Free restringing and expert fitting
Most rackets come with a free restring to your chosen tension, done in store by our own stringers. Not sure what tension you need? Bring the racket in or call us — we fit and advise every day.
RSL racket FAQs
Where can I buy RSL rackets in the UK? Only from Central Sports. We are the exclusive UK supplier of RSL badminton equipment.
Are RSL rackets good for beginners? Yes. The entry and mid-range frames are forgiving, durable and well priced — a sensible first or second racket.
What string tension should I choose? Beginners are usually best at 20–22lb; club players 22–25lb; advanced players higher. Ask us if you are unsure.
