The Precision Double Action Pump (TR555) is a compact hand pump built on a simple promise from Precision: half the size, twice as fast. Air is delivered on both the push and the pull stroke, so a flat football is match-ready in half the time — and the whole thing still fits in a coaching bag.
Key Features
- Double-Action Inflation: Delivers air on both the push and pull stroke for faster inflation.
- Compact Design: Half the size of a conventional pump without losing output.
- Extendable Rubber Air Hose: Flexible hose so the ball can sit on the ground while you pump.
- Adaptor Included: For inflatables that do not take a standard needle.
- Standard Size Needle Supplied: Ready to use with footballs, netballs, rugby balls and basketballs out of the packet.
- Display Packet: Retail-ready packaging for clubs and shops.
Performance Overview
Single-action pumps waste half of every stroke. The double-action mechanism in the TR555 uses the return stroke as well, which roughly halves the effort of taking a bag of balls from flat to match pressure — the difference between a two-minute job and a ten-minute one before a Sunday morning kick-off.
The extendable rubber hose matters more than it sounds. It lets the ball rest on the floor rather than being wedged between your knees, which keeps the needle straight and is the single best way to avoid snapping one off inside a valve.
Benefits
- Faster inflation with noticeably less effort.
- Hose design protects the needle and the ball valve.
- Small enough to live permanently in a kit bag or coaching box.
- Works across football, rugby, netball, basketball and general inflatables.
