On Running Cloudsurfer Next Running Shoe Women - Black/Grey

The On Running Cloudsurfer Next Lumos women’s running shoe is a lightweight road trainer engineered for smooth transitions and responsive cushioning. Built for women who want a versatile daily running shoe with enhanced visibility in low light, it pairs CloudTec Phase cushioning with Helion™ Superfoam for soft landings, energetic rebound and durable comfort across long miles.

Key Features

• CloudTec Phase cushioning – smooth heel-to-toe transitions with sequential compression that reduces impact for a softer, more efficient ride.
• Helion™ Superfoam midsole – lightweight energy return with a buoyant feel that stays comfortable through long miles without losing responsiveness.
• Lumos reflective details – high-visibility accents on the heel and upper to boost safety during dawn, dusk or night runs.
• Forefoot rocker geometry – encourages a quicker toe-off and a fluid stride cycle for more consistent pace.
• Engineered woven upper – a breathable, adaptive fit that keeps the foot cool and secure across varying paces and workloads.
• Rubber outsole with road traction – durable grip for daily training and tempo efforts on paved surfaces.
• Easy step-in fit – comfortable from first wear, with a secure, pressure-free fit for a wide range of foot shapes.
• Lightweight road-training profile – minimal mass supports faster turnover and reduces fatigue during daily miles and mixed-intensity workouts.
• Forward-leaning stability – subtle geometry that supports an efficient forward drive through each stride.

Performance Overview

The Cloudsurfer Next Lumos blends On’s signature cushioning with a road-focused profile designed for real-world cadence and pace control. CloudTec Phase keeps the ride smooth and controlled, while Helion™ Superfoam supplies a lively rebound that preserves comfort across longer sessions. The engineered woven upper adapts to your stride for tempo work or easy runs, and the forward-leaning rocker helps you maintain momentum from mid-stance through toe-off.

During faster efforts, the cushioning and rocker geometry give confident propulsion rather than energy-sapping drag, and the outsole’s grip remains dependable on wet or dry pavement. The overall feel is balanced rather than aggressively cushioned: a protective yet responsive platform for daily mileage, progressive workouts and night runs where visibility matters as much as comfort. Easy runs feel effortless thanks to the buoyant Helion foam, tempo sessions gain a touch of spring without losing control, and the Lumos reflections add safety in low-light training.
