The Hoka Speedgoat 7 GTX men’s trail running shoe is built for technical off-road terrain, giving reliable wet-weather protection without sacrificing pace. A bonded Gore-Tex membrane seals out rain and mud while channelling heat away from the foot, keeping your stride comfortable as mountain weather changes.
Key Features
- Gore-Tex membrane – bonded waterproof protection against rain and mud, with heat channelled away from the foot.
- Vibram® MegaGrip rubber outsole – aggressive, multi-directional lugs give predictable grip on wet basalt, loose scree and slick organic surfaces.
- Gusseted tongue and engineered mesh upper – blocks grit while supporting a locked-down anatomical fit and consistent breathability.
- Quicklace one-pull closure – an integrated cord lock in place of traditional laces for instant tension adjustments on shifting grades.
- Rubberised protective layering – a reinforced toe cap and padded heel counter shield against abrasion and minimise pressure points.
- Updated Meta-Rocker geometry – encourages a fluid rolling motion over exposed roots and uneven stone.
Performance Overview
Resting on a 31mm heel to 26mm forefoot stack with a 5mm drop, the optimised midsole compound absorbs harsh impacts without feeling sluggish, and the updated Meta-Rocker helps you keep clean momentum over roots and rocky ground. Waterproof reliability, plush yet propulsive cushioning and all-condition traction combine endurance-ready support with lightweight agility.
Who Is It For?
Distance trail runners who need waterproof reliability alongside cushioned, propulsive comfort – from ultramarathon preparation to weekend technical runs.
