Yonex VCORE Play 08 2026 Tennis Racket Strung 265g - Ruby Red

The Yonex VCORE Play is an easy-to-swing tennis racket for new players, recreational adults and developing juniors who want a racket that feels comfortable straight away and supports good technique – a first step into performance tennis. A generous 100 sq in head, forgiving sweet spot and lightweight 270g frame give easy power, dependable control and stable, spin-friendly performance from day one. Supplied strung.

Key Features

• Sweet Spot – maximum forgiveness – the large 100 sq in head and Yonex ISOMETRIC geometry give a bigger sweet spot, cleaner contact, fewer framed shots and more depth and height on rally balls, which helps players still developing their timing.
• Snapback – easy spin, less effort – horizontal snapback grommets let the strings move more freely for natural topspin, higher net clearance, safer and more consistent rallies, and the confidence to accelerate through the ball.
• Speed – lightweight handling – at 270g it gives fast preparation, easier swings, quicker improvement and less fatigue in longer sessions; players moving up from rental rackets will notice the control and comfort straight away.
• Stability – clean, comfortable feedback – even as an entry model it includes VDM (Vibration Dampening Mesh), high-quality HM Graphite and a stable frame profile for controlled power and a smooth, arm-friendly feel.

Performance Overview

The Play brings Yonex's 4S Spin System to newer players in a simplified, user-friendly form, helping you hit with height, shape and consistency. Whether you're hitting your first forehand, rallying for cardio or learning serves and slices, it makes every stroke feel smoother and more confident – and makes modern topspin intuitive, even if you've never hit it before. If you want a racket that helps you build good habits, reduces mishits and makes the game easier, this is the place to start.
