Balance & Flex Profile
The Yonex Astrox 100 Game VA is the more accessible version of the professional Astrox 100 ZZ – a head-heavy attacking badminton racket designed for intermediate players. It brings the signature Astrox technologies into a frame that is easier to handle, ideal for club and competitive players looking to improve their attacking game. As part of the Viktor Axelsen Signature Range, it pays tribute to the Olympic Champion with its own VA finish.
Key Features
- Nano Mesh Neo – strengthens the frame while adding flexibility to the shaft for more repulsion and power.
- Aero+ Box Frame – aerodynamic sections for faster swings, with box-shaped edges for stability and a solid feel at impact.
- Rotational Generator System – counterbalanced weight in the handle, frame top and joint for smoother transitions and quicker follow-up shots.
- Energy Boost Cap – optimises shaft flex for power while stabilising the racket face against twisting.
- Slim Shaft – reduces air resistance for more swing speed and power.
- Power Assist Bumper – a tungsten-infused bumper at the top of the frame adds mass for steeper, more penetrating smashes.
Performance Overview
The head-heavy balance and Power Assist Bumper put weight where it helps the smash, while the medium flex and Rotational Generator System keep the racket manageable for follow-up shots. It is easier to handle than pro-level rackets without giving up power.
Who Is It For?
- Aggressive rear-court players who thrive on smashes
- Intermediate players stepping up towards advanced play – an ideal step-up racket
- Club and competitive players who want Astrox power with easier handling
