Introduction
The On Cloudflow 5 Women's Running Shoe in Black/Black is a lightweight tempo trainer built for runners who love fast days. With On's Helion HF superfoam, a glass-fibre Speedboard and a pronounced forefoot rocker, the Cloudflow 5 is made for intervals, tempo runs and race-day efforts where a quick, responsive ride matters most.
Key Features
- Helion HF Superfoam: On's high-performance PEBA-based foam delivers a firm, responsive platform for faster paces.
- CloudTec Phase Midsole: Sequential cushioning pods compress in sequence for smooth, efficient transitions.
- Speedboard: A glass-fibre and nylon plate adds snap and propulsion through toe-off.
- Forefoot Rocker: An aggressive rocker geometry encourages quick turnover at tempo pace.
- Lightweight Build: Approximately 230 g in a women's standard size, keeping the shoe fast and nimble.
Performance Overview
The Cloudflow 5 is at its best when the pace picks up. The firm, springy Helion HF layer and Speedboard combination rewards a faster cadence, while the rocker profile keeps transitions smooth through the gait cycle. It is a shoe for structured sessions — intervals, fartleks and tempo blocks — rather than slow recovery miles.
Benefits
- Fast, stable and responsive ride for speed sessions and racing.
- Secure, breathable engineered upper with reliable lockdown.
- Versatile enough for parkrun, 5K–half marathon racing and tempo training.
- Understated Black/Black colourway that pairs with any kit.
