Balance & Flex Profile
The HEAD Extreme MP L 2026 (product number 233326) is a lightweight, spin-focused tennis racket for intermediate players and ambitious developing juniors who want easy power, fast racket-head speed and strong topspin potential. At just 280g unstrung it is easier to manoeuvre than heavier performance frames while keeping the stability and connected feel needed for confident, aggressive tennis.
With new Hy-Bor technology in the shaft, Auxetic 2.0, a very open 16x19 Spin Pattern, Spin Shaft, Spin Grommets and Sound Grommets, this full-size racket is built to maximise string movement, spin and responsive feedback. Its versatile 100 sq in head, 325mm balance and light frame add pace, rotation and spin without the physical demands of a heavier tournament racket. Strung, in Green.

Key Features
- Lightweight 280g frame – easy to accelerate through the hitting zone and quick to prepare, helping generate racket-head speed for spin.
- Hy-Bor stability technology – state-of-the-art material in the shaft with high compressional strength to maximise perceived stability, adding a solid feel without unnecessary weight.
- Auxetic 2.0 – actively responds during impact for real-time, highly accurate feedback, helping players sense contact and develop shot placement.
- 100 sq in head (645cm²) – a versatile, forgiving hitting area that balances power, spin and control for baseline and all-round tennis.
- Very open 16x19 Spin Pattern – maximises string snap-back for heavy topspin on forehands and backhands.
- Spin Shaft – optimised lateral stability for higher spin potential on modern topspin strokes.
- Spin Grommets – greater main-string movement in multiple directions and faster snap-back for power and spin.
- Sound Grommets – add string movement for power while optimising sound and vibration for the crisp Extreme response.
- 325mm head-light balance – 325mm / 0.7in head light, for quick preparation and faster acceleration in rapid exchanges.
- 23/26/21mm variable beam – wider sections support easy power and stability through aggressive strokes.
- Suited to developing juniors – a full-size 27-inch racket with a light build and performance-level spin technology, making it a good stepping stone into adult performance rackets.
Performance Overview
The Extreme MP L 2026 is built for players who want power and heavy spin with less physical effort. The 280g construction makes it easier to manoeuvre and accelerate, helping intermediate players develop faster swings and more aggressive strokes. Hy-Bor is a real advantage in a lightweight frame: integrated into the shaft, its high compressional strength maximises perceived stability for a more solid feel at impact without significantly increasing weight – so it feels composed when returning faster shots or accelerating through a groundstroke.
Auxetic 2.0 actively responds at impact with accurate feedback, which is particularly useful for developing players refining placement, depth and stroke mechanics. Spin is central: the very open 16x19 pattern encourages maximum snap-back, the Spin Grommets free up the main strings and the Spin Shaft adds lateral stability, giving the tools to generate heavy topspin from fast, modern swings. The forgiving 100 sq in head and 325mm balance combine speed, spin, power and connected feel.
