Balance & Flex Profile
The Babolat Jetstream 74 is an ultra-lightweight, head-light badminton racket built around speed. A 74g frame, a carbon shaft and an isometric head give intermediate players the fast handling and forgiving contact that fast doubles and attacking singles demand. Supplied factory strung and ready to play.
Key Features
- Ultra-lightweight 74g frame — rapid swing speed and quicker reactions in fast rallies.
- Head-light balance — fast racket handling for defence, net interception and quick transitions.
- Carbon shaft — durable and resilient with consistent flex for efficient power transfer.
- Isometric head shape — an enlarged sweet spot that forgives off-centre contact.
- 17-26 lb tension range — room to tune the setup to your own game.
- Supplied pre-strung — straight out of the cover and onto the court.
Performance Overview
The Jetstream 74 is engineered for players who win points with speed rather than raw weight of shot. The light frame and head-light balance let the racket get to the shuttle first, which matters most on flat drives and at the front of the court. The carbon shaft keeps the frame from feeling flimsy despite the low mass, and the isometric head widens the effective hitting area so a slightly late racket still produces a clean shuttle.
Benefits
Less mass means less arm fatigue across a long session and faster recovery between shots — the two things that decide tight doubles rallies. The forgiving head keeps defensive lifts deep even when you are stretched, and the wide tension range means the racket can be set up soft for comfort now and tightened as your technique sharpens.
