Balance & Flex Profile
The Babolat Evo Drive Lite Gen2 is a lightweight tennis racket for intermediate players, improving beginners and juniors moving up to their first full-size adult frame. At just 255g unstrung, it combines easy manoeuvrability, easy power and real comfort, helping players build confidence and consistency.
Inspired by the Babolat Pure Drive Gen11, it uses Air Handle Touch, the Woofer System and an aerodynamic elliptical frame for a powerful yet forgiving feel – whether you are rallying from the baseline, attacking the net or working on your all-round game. Supplied unstrung, in Blue.
Key Features
- 255g unstrung – easy handling and faster racket-head speed, with less arm fatigue in long matches; suits intermediate players and juniors moving into adult rackets.
- Controlled power – easy power without sacrificing control, for deeper groundstrokes and confident shot-making across a wide range of styles.
- Air Handle Touch technology – vibration damping built into the handle reduces shock for more comfort, arm protection and a softer feel at impact.
- Graphite frame – light yet durable, with responsiveness, stability and a clean feel.
- 16x17 string pattern – an open pattern for more string movement and ball pocketing, adding depth, easy pace and spin.
- Elliptical frame technology – the elliptical beam improves structural stability and energy transfer, giving consistent performance across the string bed.
- Woofer System – strengthens interaction between strings and frame, increasing ball contact time for comfort, control and consistency.
- Large 670cm² head – a generous sweet spot for forgiveness on off-centre hits and consistency in rallies.
- Comfort-focused design – arm-friendly performance that softens impact without losing responsiveness.
- Pure Drive family – shares design DNA with Babolat’s Pure Drive range, making it a natural stepping stone towards advanced performance rackets.
Performance Overview
The Evo Drive Lite Gen2 is built to make tennis easier and more comfortable. The light frame allows quick reactions and easy acceleration, and the large head and open pattern give a forgiving sweet spot for confident strokes from anywhere on court. Air Handle Touch significantly reduces vibration reaching the arm, and with the Woofer System and graphite construction it gives a smooth, responsive feel that encourages consistent ball striking and better shot control. Whether you are developing your game, returning to tennis or moving up from a junior racket, it combines power, comfort and manoeuvrability.
