Balance & Flex Profile
The Apacs Training W-140 is a dedicated practice frame from the Apacs W range — a ladder of training rackets running W-120, W-140, W-160, W-180 and W-200. Finished in Apacs' black and orange matte colourway and marked Special Training System across the frame top, it is built for structured off-court and warm-up work rather than match play. This listing is the G4 grip.
Key Features
- Apacs W training range — one of five steps in the W ladder, so you can move up or down the range as your conditioning work progresses.
- Special Training System frame — carries the Apacs Special Training System marking across the head; the W series is sold specifically as practice equipment, not as a match racket.
- Black/orange matte finish — Apacs' single production colourway for the W-140, with an orange throat and head band over a matte black frame.
- G4 grip — supplied in the G4 grip size, the mid-point of the badminton grip range.
- Supplied unstrung — sold as a bare frame, so you choose your own string and tension. Our stringing team can take care of it before despatch.
Performance Overview
The W-140 is a repetition tool. Used for shadow swings, wrist and forearm drills and warm-up routines, it lets you groove a swing path away from the pressure of a rally. Because the whole W range shares one frame shape, technique worked on the W-140 transfers cleanly to the rest of the ladder.
It is not intended to replace your match racket. Treat it as the conditioning frame that lives in the bag alongside it.
Benefits
Working with a dedicated training frame keeps handling wear off your playing racket and gives coaches a consistent piece of kit to run group drills with. Clubs and coaching sessions get a repeatable, hard-wearing tool that stands up to heavy use.
