Aixo

Q: Tacky or Dry overgrip - which Aixo should I choose?

Tacky if you sweat heavily or want maximum grip security. Dry if you play in cooler conditions or prefer a less-sticky feel that absorbs moisture without feeling gummy. Most club players try both and find their preference within 2-3 sessions.

Q: How often should I replace my overgrip?

Most regular club players replace overgrips every 4-6 weeks of regular play (or 6-10 hours on court). Heavy sweaters or daily players replace more often. A worn overgrip slips and reduces shot accuracy.

Q: Does the Aixo Game Grip Spray really work on indoor courts?

Yes - designed for the most common indoor-court slipping problem: residual dust or moisture on shoe sole reducing grip. A light spray on each sole before play restores grip without damaging the court surface.

Why choose Aixo

Aixo gives club players a technical, performance-tested kit option without the premium-brand markup. The Aixo Tacky and Dry overgrips are among the most-used overgrips in UK badminton clubs — comparable quality to Yonex or Wilson at lower per-unit cost. The Game Grip Spray is the answer to slippery indoor courts that cause non-grip-related slips. Most Aixo apparel ships from the UK with next-working-day delivery.

Frequently asked questions about Aixo

What is Aixo?

Aixo is a performance court-sports brand carried at Central Sports covering badminton, tennis and padel. The range includes performance apparel for men and women, the popular Aixo Tacky and Aixo Dry overgrips, the Aixo Game Grip Spray for indoor court shoes, court accessories and an entry-level range of padel rackets.

Is Aixo a Central Sports own brand?

Aixo is one of the brands Central Sports stocks and supports directly — speak to our team in store at Birmingham or Milton Keynes for any questions about Aixo’s provenance, manufacturing or specific product details. We test all Aixo gear in our own stores before stocking it.

Tacky or Dry overgrip — which Aixo should I choose?

Tacky if you sweat heavily or want maximum grip security — the high-tack finish locks the racket to your hand. Dry if you play in cooler conditions or prefer a less-sticky feel that absorbs moisture without feeling gummy. Most club players try both and find their preference within 2-3 sessions.

How often should I replace my overgrip?

Most regular club players replace overgrips every 4-6 weeks of regular play (or 6-10 hours on court). Heavy sweaters or daily players replace more often. A worn overgrip slips and reduces shot accuracy — if you notice the racket twisting in your hand, it’s time for a fresh wrap.

Does the Aixo Game Grip Spray really work on indoor courts?

Yes — it’s designed for the most common indoor-court slipping problem: residual dust or moisture on the shoe sole reducing grip. A light spray on each sole before play restores grip without damaging the court surface. It’s a club-staple at many UK badminton clubs and the most effective non-chemical fix for slippery indoor halls.

Are Aixo padel rackets suitable for beginners?

Yes — the Aixo padel rackets are positioned as competitively priced beginner-to-intermediate frames. They’re a sensible first padel racket for players testing the sport before committing to a top-tier Bullpadel, Babolat or NOX frame.
